Underwriter was very concerned about funding this loan because of the borrowers debts. Sister of borrower tried to assist by helping to clear/pay off the debt. Turned out OK but only until there was a back-up loan on the table.Perhaps Veterans United comes together with there underwriting department to resolve challenging scenarios before they get out of hand, as in Brian’s situation.Thanks!

Unbelievably fast and easy going the entire process was with Veterans United.
Everyone worked together as a team to make my first time home purchase possible.
From the moment I was pre-approved to the very end at closing, Jeffrey first called me that I had been pre approved, immediately afterwards Eric in the lending department contacted me introducing himself and advising me that he will try his best on getting the numbers right for me with soon after the numbers came in Eric then introduced me to Justin with Underwriting who had all my questions answered and he notified me whenever he had documentation that needed signatures by using the Veterans United App which made everything so easy.
Lastly but one who was there from the beginning till the end was Kaylyn with home buying concierge. Kaylyn extended her kindness to me with authenticity and thoughtfulness. And with that said everyone at Veterans United were so welcoming and in one month I had been approved for the loan and a closing date.
