Philicia is the proud wife of a veteran and mother of a few awesome children. She comes to Veterans United Home Loans as a loan officer with experience in the legal and higher education fields. As a Board Certified Human Services Practitioner, she is dedicated to assisting homebuyers in making healthy financial decisions of which they can be proud. Her attention to detail, go-getter attitude and negotiating skills make her a great loan officer. Philicia volunteers as a child advocate for Cumberland County and crusades to end childhood hunger in our community. When she is not working or volunteering, she enjoys fitness, traveling and spending time with family.
Solibel Ramos is a senior loan officer at Veterans United Home Loans in Fayetteville. Solibel first came to North Carolina 17 years ago as a military spouse and made Fayetteville her home. Because of this, she has a deep appreciation for the men and women who serve our country. Solibel has been in the mortgage industry for more than 15 years and works hard to make the homebuying process simple for her clients. Outside of work, Solibel spends time with her family and her dogs at the beach!
Bob is a loan officer at Veterans United Home Loans and is also a 33-year veteran of the U.S. Army with six combat deployments. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in New York and prides himself in his selfless service to the nation. Fayetteville has been home for Bob and his family since 2009. His family is grateful for the opportunity to settle down and plant long-lasting ties to the community here. His military experience gives him a unique understanding of his homebuying customers at Veterans United. Bob provides an untiring dedication and commitment to his customers’ loan processes, and he will tenaciously work for his homebuyers.
Andre Machado is a loan officer at Veterans United Home Loans and is also a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Army and Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division with five combat tours. As a veteran, Andre understands the needs of the military family and their desire to achieve the American dream of owning a home. He feels privileged to help our veterans and their families achieve their homeowning goals. Andre provides a quality, personalized experience to his customers, and he believes his tenacious approach to the loan process delivers superior results. Outside of work, Andre enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He’s an animal lover and takes part in many outdoor sports and activities, like hiking and skiing.
Charley Smith is a loan officer at Veterans United Home Loans in Fayetteville. Charley is from Houston but moved to North Carolina in 2011. Prior to this position at Veterans United, Charley served in the U.S. Army as an Officer for eight years and served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He understands the military lifestyle, and as your loan officer, Charley knows how important communication is to help you achieve your homebuying goals. When he’s not helping military homebuyers become homeowners, he’s spending time with his wife and two sons at the beach or chasing around the family dog.
Amber Steele is a Loan Officer at Veterans United Home Loans, in Fayetteville, NC. She has lived in Fayetteville since 2011, minus a 3 year tour in Italy as a supportive military spouse. As a military spouse of nine years she can easily relate to the challenges military families face every day, so her job is to make the home buying process as seamless and stress-free as possible. She has passion for helping service members and their families make their dream of homeownership come true. On her free time, she supports her husband as part of the Special Forces Association Parachute team, which allows her to travel throughout the state and jump out of airplanes!
Crystal is a proud active duty Army wife and mother to two incredible boys. As an active duty Army spouse of 6 years, Crystal has first-hand experience with the struggles military families face during moves and transitions. Crystal comes to Veterans United with four years of real estate experience and holds a Master’s in Business Administration. She joins our team as a Transaction Coordinator with dedication to helping clients succeed in the American dream of homeownership.
