Philicia is the proud wife of a veteran and mother of a few awesome children. She comes to Veterans United Home Loans as a loan officer with experience in the legal and higher education fields. As a Board Certified Human Services Practitioner, she is dedicated to assisting homebuyers in making healthy financial decisions of which they can be proud. Her attention to detail, go-getter attitude and negotiating skills make her a great loan officer. Philicia volunteers as a child advocate for Cumberland County and crusades to end childhood hunger in our community. When she is not working or volunteering, she enjoys fitness, traveling and spending time with family.
Solibel Ramos is a senior loan officer at Veterans United Home Loans in Fayetteville. Solibel first came to North Carolina 17 years ago as a military spouse and made Fayetteville her home. Because of this, she has a deep appreciation for the men and women who serve our country. Solibel has been in the mortgage industry for more than 15 years and works hard to make the homebuying process simple for her clients. Outside of work, Solibel spends time with her family and her dogs at the beach!
Bob is a loan officer at Veterans United Home Loans and is also a 33-year veteran of the U.S. Army with six combat deployments. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in New York and prides himself in his selfless service to the nation. Fayetteville has been home for Bob and his family since 2009. His family is grateful for the opportunity to settle down and plant long-lasting ties to the community here. His military experience gives him a unique understanding of his homebuying customers at Veterans United. Bob provides an untiring dedication and commitment to his customers’ loan processes, and he will tenaciously work for his homebuyers.
Brittney Whipps is a Loan Officer with Veterans United Home Loans. She has lived in Fayetteville since 2005 and is proud to help her fellow neighbors attain homeownership. With prior military experience and as a military spouse, Brittney has a great understanding of what happens to a soldier and their family and what they have to go through during the difficult times. Being a veteran helps her to connect with each client in a more productive and effective way while also making sure that no concerns go unchecked. Outside of work, most of her life revolves around family. Spending time with her kids and husband is always a blessing and something that gives her the strength to succeed.
Loan Officer Chelsea Perkins brings 12 years of finance experience and 7 years in the insurance industry to our Fayetteville team. She and her husband are both Veterans and bought their first home right here at Veterans United – they had a great experience and achieved their lifelong goal of home ownership, and she hopes to do the same for future clients. Outside of work, she loves to travel, work out, help the community, and spend time with her family.
Crystal is a proud active duty Army wife and mother to two incredible boys. As an active duty Army spouse of 6 years, Crystal has first-hand experience with the struggles military families face during moves and transitions. Crystal comes to Veterans United with four years of real estate experience and holds a Master’s in Business Administration. She joins our team as a Transaction Coordinator with dedication to helping clients succeed in the American dream of homeownership. Her drive, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and initiative are sure to assist in an incredible home-buying experience.
Megan Santiago is a Loan Specialist and an active duty military wife. She is very familiar with the military community and hopes to use her military knowledge to better help those who have served in Fayetteville. Megan’s greatest joy at her job is being able to help fellow military families take advantage of their benefits and get them into homes they can call their own. She recognizes how important it is for them to put down roots in the communities they’ve protected and hopes to help as many as possible realize their dream of homeownership. When not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her kids and dogs at home. When they get the chance, the Santiagos love traveling and going on adventures together as a family.
