Rachel and her team made the process simple and manageable. My questions were answered quickly and her solutions were understandable and simple.
The overall process was more tedious than other VA lenders and the appraiser’s they use do not do their jobs. A $700 appraisal still had the VA buyer have to go out and take pictures of smoke alarms.

VA appraisers are independent and sometimes need additional proof, like photos of smoke alarms, to meet the VA’s requirements. It has been 24 years since my husband separated from the Army and we have never before pursued using his VA loan benefit, so the process was new to us.
