I would like to say thank you to the team and that after flying here to do a house hunting trip, we were able to close by n a house in less than 45 days, which is exceptional.
The loan officer did not communicate as needed. I was never made aware of when we had a conditional approval, cleared to close, or a closing date and time was picked. I only knew how the loan was going by going to the website and seeing what was going on. The pending to do items (if any) were sent to my realtor so he can ask me for me. Which did not make sense to me. I never received a call from a processor, loan officer, closer etc. The loan process was smooth as I stayed on top of it by providing most (if not all items needed) at the very beginning. It is important to hear either from the loan officer or his team throughout the process. And not just rely on the realtor doing the communication with the borrower.
Bob and his team were great throughout my home buying process. Anytime I needed assistance from Bob or Crystal, I received immediate responses with clear helpful instructions. I would definitely recommend Veterans United to any of my veteran friends/family looking to buy a home. The way this system and the team are set up make an overwhelming process like homebuying seem simple.
